The purpose of this position is to assist the Diesel Technicians in performing quality work in a timely matter. The Aide's job is to keep the job progressing without interruptions. In addition, the Tech Aide will keep the shop, parts, and office areas clean and orderly. Minimum Training and Experience: • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent and demonstrated dedication to continuing education and certification in the industry. • Ability and desire to further education and training for the position by attending classes, seminars and training as budget and time allows.
•Demonstrated ability to work with the public in a service position. • Demonstrated ability to handle assigned duties in a financially responsible manner.
- Clean driving record.
• Assist the Diesel Technicians in performing quality work in a timely matter. • Clean up work area and tools between job assignments. • Report any missing or damaged tools to the Manager. • Think safety first while performing all duties. • Insure that the customer's vehicle is kept as clean as possible. • Perform other duties as needed.
